Transport Links

With easily accessed transport links literally just around the corner, Henry Tate Mews is well served by public transport, making it easy to get out and about. Situated in Zone 3, buses (no’s 217 and 249) run regularly to Streatham High Road and beyond.

Train line:

From the High Road we are served by three main line train Stations:

  1. Streatham Common
  2. Streatham
  3. Streatham Hill

Mainline train London destinations are London Victoria and London Bridge, both approximately 20 minutes away. Services to both destinations are frequent. Trains from Streatham also serve Luton airport via St Pancreas international station.

Underground connections(tube):

London Overground: Short trip away is the Crystal palace station, bus 249 and 417 takes you to the station

Northern Line: Tooting Bec station is close by and bus 249  takes you to the station. One stop on the main line is the Balham Underground Station (Northern Line)

Victoria Line : A  short bus ride away is Brixton Underground (Victoria Line).

In addition to the mainline London Stations, the London Victoria bound trains stop at Clapham Junction interchange.

Airports

Gatwick Airport is an approx. 55 minute drive away or a 30 minute train ride via East Croydon station terminal, a couple of stops from Streatham Common Mainline Station. There is a regular service to East Croydon and onwards to Gatwick Airport.

Bus services

There are two bus services leading directly to Streatham High Road and beyond. The 417 runs down Leigham Court Road and the 249 runs down Streatham Common North. Both buses provide a regular service day and night, and there are numerous further bus routes to connect to, from the High Road or crown point.
